O Scale CCK Water Street Appliance [Review Build]
These are live videos and do contain how-to information. In fact, you'll find info in my videos that you will find nowhere else. However, these are not edited fancy videos that focus on video editing. I am a modeler, I share the modeling.
In this video, we substitute I&A stain for Steel wool and vinegar stain. Texture the wood and paint the walls an initial coat of off-white. Next video we will address windows and more wall detailing.

Ribbed Back Wheel 1959
I found this at the Dennison, OH RR museum on a UTLX tank car. I didn't think that ribbed back wheels were cast this late.

What would you consider the best rolling stock manufacturer?
What would you consider the best rolling stock brand manufacturer with the most detail in their rolling stock regardless of price in HO scale for prototypes from the 40s to 70s.

Berlin 1929 - The Elevated Railway Provisional Construction.
One of the fascinations for me in Berlin was the raised railway, especially the part which runs along the river Spree (which at the time I first knew it was still 'East Berlin'). It was partly the higher level that interested me as it would allow my shunting operations to have something of a background. The Gasworks will be surrounded by the return curve at one end and the far end (closest to my bed) will have a foundry and rolling mill in its compass. Between the two are the four tracks of the fast and slow lines, which run in both directions.
Fascia Control Panels in LA, Pasadena & Cucamonga RR
Hi all,
Long overdue update on the progress at the LA, Pasadena & Cucamonga RR.
Since the last update, the fascia has been finished and painted and curtains have been added as skirting. The topic of this update concerns all the fascia control panels that have been designed, built, painted and installed in order to control the tortoises.

Station Platform
Does anyone have some decent pictures of station platforms from the 60's that show material used mainly regarding the concrete/asphalt surface and the colors they were. When did US stations start marking a yellow safety strip at the edge of the track. Also anyone know the requirements back then for crossing lights or are they pretty much the same requirements as they are today. In lack of the latter I will lean towards today's specifications.

What Engines would be acceptable to run on my layout
Dont know very much about engines or rolling stock other to say that if I'm trying have some prototype (70%) around the Tennessee Virginia - Knoxville Roanoke Abingdon (Virgina Creeper) around the 40's to 70's. In HO what sort of Rail companies would be operating there. And with rolling stock would it be a bit more flexible, wouldn't rolling stock be travelling all over the place. I dont want to buy some desiels or steam and have it look silly out of place.

Amtrak FP7 use
Looking for more insight on where Amtrak used EMD FP7s.
I have come across YouTube video and it mostly just showed them used in California. Seems here in the East the E8 was deployed most often till the introduction of the SDP40F came along.
