Wiring diagram for dpdt switch & motor?
I'm trying to figure out the correct wiring diagram to use a double pole, double throw switch with a charging plug. I'm trying to do this with out a dpdt center off switch. I have a 9 volt battery, and a small motor that I'm trying to reverse/forward. The battery needs a charging jack as it will be sealed up. I'm not sure where to put the charging jack into this circuit.
Peco electrofrog weird behavior
Can someone help me. I am having really weird electrical performance from one Peco electro-frog turnout. Power to the frog and its wing rail and a short portion of the closure rails is supplied/controlled by the turnouts tortoise. When the power (DCC)is on and no loco is in the turnout I have a touch over 14 volts. When a loco enters the area of the wing rail of the frog and the frog (from either direction) the voltage on the two parts drops to a touch over 3 volts. For longer locos this is not a problem but for short wheel based locos they get trapped there.
Knifes
Guys,
I'm looking for some really sharp blades for a locomotive project I'm getting ready to start. Was told to look for surgical blades but coming up empty, big hands, little handles. Does anybody have leads to a purchase source for me.
Looking for a chisel style blade that is much narrower than a standard #17 blade.

VAL-U Fuels & Oil | Showcase miniatures HO Scale
I just received this kit.
Now after years of making unboxing videos and never releasing them, I am finally releasing my first. Now I do not have an affiliation with Showcase, I am friends with the co-designer of this kit Jason Jenson. This guy is set to become the next Selios. And I am prepared to fight for that opinion.

Peco Insul-Frog Turnouts
I have over 100 Peco Insul-Frog Turnouts on my layout and am having constant trouble with Loco's (mostly steam) shorting when they cross the frog rails in these turnouts. This is a real distraction when we are trying to have a Operating session and even more so with sound Locos, sound going on and off. I have found that the insulator piece between the frog rails is so inconsistent, some are wide and some are very close together. I have tried heavy duty finger nail polish sometime it works other times not so much. I am at my wits end trying to fix this.

Progress....
Progress today on the current project! Quite pleased with this side of the car which is finished. Rust wash applied in certain spots, and a new technique used on the door. On to the other side tomorrow. More photos when finished...
Suitable tank cars and covered hoppers for a small switching layout
I'm currently designing a small 60" x 16" HO scale switching layout on which I'd like to model an LPG distributor (ex. Walthers Central Gas & Supply) and a cement distributor (ex. Walthers Medusa Cement Co.) Time frame is 70's into 80's.
My freight car knowledge is quite lacking and I need some help identifying suitable tank cars and covered hopper models for both industries. I'd like the cars to stay around 50' or below due to the limited space I have.
I appreciate the help.
Thanks, Mark

Next car up!
Here are two photos of the next project, first photo of course is the Walther’s car right out of the box. Second photo is progress so far. More photos when finished....
