Wireless Charging Components
Neil,
I'll start a separate post so as not to hi-jack the Photo thread. I'm sure other members might want to join in.
I can't take credit for finding those circuit boards. The honor goes to Ted Scannell , a member of CLAG (Central London Area Group). After trying several other sources I came across this on the CLAG website. http://www.clag.org.uk/battery-radio.html I contacted Ted and asked where he got those boards.

prototype information
Distant Signal Productions is a great railfan source. Danny Harmon does a remarkable job illustrating how railroads run. At times he uses a drone for getting shots like this. More important is his articulate narration of operations.

Keep Alive in BLI SW7 with SQI decoder
I have installed KA3 KEep Alive circuits from TCS in several BLI SW7s. These are older models and the QSI circuit board is marked (c) 2003 QSI Quantum.

ARM-DAT Inc - an interesting industry to model
A post on the OpSig mailing list led me to a set of live RailCams in the West Bottoms area of Kansas City, practically on the Kansas/Missouri border.
You can see the cams here:

GE Silverliner IV - help!
Hi all - Just throwing this out there in the hope someone can help.
I'm waiting on a couple of Island Model Works Silverliner IV kits, really looking forward to starting on what promises to be a great little project. Should keep me going until Christmas...
Does anyone have, or know where I can get, a good quality overhead prototype photo of the Silverliner IV pantograph setup? I've pretty much exhausted Google images with no luck, for the first time ever.

Animating a Walthers HO Scale Rotary Dumper
I'm getting ready to lay the track through the wood chip unloading area on my DOMTAR Pulp and Paper Mill layout and thought it would be prudent to figure out how I'm going to animate my Walthers HO Scale Rotary Dumper kit (just in case I have to move the track because of bulky under-layout components conflicting with the bench work).
Does anyone have a step-by-step of how to modify the Walthers rotary dumper to achieve reliable animation?
Substitute for Floquil on wooden models?
Recently I exhausted my supply of Floquil boxcar red. I tried using Scalecoat 1 on a wood model. Although Scalecoat 1 on brass models gives beautiful results, I am disappointed with the resultant finish when used on wood. I won't use it on wood again. Floquil gave gorgeous results on wood surfaces, even when brushed on, and I would like to continue duplicating such fine results. Has anyone found a reasonable substitute for Floquil?
CNR FP9a
Was the CN FP9a ever used for freight service in the early seventies? Or was it strictly used for passenger service only?

The Hocking Valley - proto-freelancing a unique 50's coal hauler. Big steam, coal, and plenty of overhead trafic. (Part 2 of 3)
Alright, now that we have a very condensed version of the Hocking's history, let's have a look at where I've deviated a bit to set up my alternate history.
First off, there were actually a couple comments on the last post that weren't that far off, I've pasted them below
