Modeling topic

Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to track-laying we go!
Wednesday afternoon and thursday were family time - eating, playing, eating more. Friday I had to work (!) but managed to watch my LSU Tigers win against Arkansas, going 10-2 for the year and retaining the coveted Boot trophy. Sadly, Auburn didn't help me out on Saturday, loosing embarrassingly to Alabama. So now I have to lean on Georgia (bleh) in hope of a Sugar Bowl bid with Bama down in flames.
So Saturday before football I got several major jobs done off the Honey Do List, which meant I could do some serious track laying on Sunday.

What Did I Miss?
I'm in the process of designing my layout. Along with that, I am creating a website with the intent of teaching others how to begin the process of designing and building a layout. Some of you have already clicked on the links in my signature, and thank you.
I've just put up the level two page for layout design. This is the page that connects to all the pages that will describe the topics in detail. As such, this page doesn't contain any detail, just very brief descriptions of each topic.

Testing, testing...
I know I am pretty slow at getting my modules built, but I have a lot of distractions. This week I managed to get my Inglenook wired up with an Anderson connector so I can just leave the FreeMoN cable hooked up to the Zephyr and plug it in. My sweetie also bought me an early Christmas present, this nifty little hobby cart.
So we spent a couple of hours putting it together and loading the drawers with tools and stuff.

A portable display layout.. part 4
Okay, so I'm now to the inside of the track when it comes to scenery - outside the track was pretty simple, but going inside meant I had to decide what Lone Hill Park actually looks like.
I decided to start with the walking paths in order to define sections to the park - a large field for kite flying, smaller sections for picnic tables, and of course Lone Hill, with it's path to the top.
