W&N : Evolving plan
I am in the process of building my Phase 2 of the W&N and after completing the Birdsboro yard, I started building South towards Phase 1 on the peninsula.
May original concept had the Trap Rock quarry at the end of the peninsula, with a storage track/runaround and a couple spurs, then a siding on either side of the aisle (Joanna and Conestoga) with the Elverson, French Creek Jct. Wye area a the end of the aisle.
Obscure model review
Recently, as i said in some of my other forums, I got a few early era Bachmann Amtrak stuff (specifically a first iteration Metroliner and assorted Amfleets and a Metroliner dummy). I heard there was an MRR article in the 70s reviewing the Bachmann Metroliner, and the only information i know about it is that its strong at an 11 car pull, but thats kinda it. If anyone has a transcript and possible pictures they might’ve had it would help a bunch. It’s to help with my documentation of the prototype and the model to have a small little archive of the set as a whole.
Aerial Trams, Bingham had four.
Has anyone modeled an aerial tram? I would love to see a picture.

Paragon 3 Decoders
Are these paragon 3 decoders available as an individual purchase,...for someone interested in adding 'rolling thunder' to their locomotives?

Interface a computer running Linux to a DCC command station
Is there a commercially available product that allows a computer running a Linux operating system to interface with a Digitrax DCC command station?
I have been using a computer running Windows XP with a RR-CirKits LocoBuffer-USB interface. Now I want to install Linux on the computer but the LocoBuffer does not have a Linux driver. Neither does the Digitrax PR4.
Does anybody make an interface that works with Linux?
Not sure what power adapter I need for a 1995 New Bright Musical Express. Help?
I bought a 1995 New Bright "Musical Express" set off of Ebay, thinking that it took four C batteries like my other New Bright set. This one, however, clearly needs an adapter. I'm just not sure which one to get. I see numerous new bright adapters on Ebay, but am not sure whether they're compatible. New Bright made so many "express" models, it's really hard tracking down the exact replacement parts.
Facia mounted turnout throw
Have been working on facia mounted manual turnout controls. Most are to small or too fragile. So found these Bachmann G scale turn out throws and it was of the the races. I cut off part of the mounting lug that connected to the Bachmann switch. Extended the throw linkage. Made a nice 4 by 4 inch shelf to mount it on. I used a Blue Point throw to work the points. Worked great and rugged.
