Tam Valley Shuttle Info - for Rich S and others

In my other post about using the Tam Valley Shuttle on my Richlawn RR Rich S had asked: "Does the doodlebug stop inside the gapped area?" and I told him I would take some pictures to show the results.  To see the original thread, go here:  http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/20899

Here are the pictures:

Temporary spray adhesive for pink foam?

Is there a spray adhesive that will not attack pink foam I can use to temporarily hold down some printouts with?

I've searched a few forums and Google and have come up with some permanent adhesives but nothing temporary/repositionable.

Thanks.

Archer decals, other than rivets.

For those of you that have seen mention of Archer's Rivet decals have you explored their site?  I thought I would point out this site as a resource for new modelers.  It would be worth it to surf their site.  There is a lot more than rivets and weld decals on their site.

Replicating 4' fluorescent lights in HO

Has anyone ever replicated the look of 4' fluorescent lights commonly used in businesses? I've been trying to come up with a way to allow light through a translucent cover and then have two/four brighter strips of light showing. I've been working with various masks but it just ends up creating shadows. The best I can come up with is a milky white rectangle with slots cut in them. This is for the full LED to come through. Then have another translucent cover over all of that.

Code 55 & Code 80 Joint Bars in N Scale - Is there any interest?

In the comments on my post post about HO Code 55 & 70 Joint bars, I was challenged to create an n scale version.

My question is: "is anybody in N Scale actually interested in such a thing?"

I made some test cuts. If there is interest, I will release the product...

When to paint track?

My first module is complete and ready to be placed back on the layout. You guys were right, some of the commercial switches did require a bit of rework to improve their accuracy and reliability. That is done and I am convinced it works well now.

Railpro in Australia

I have purchased and am waiting delivery on Controller and Loco Modules from Yankee Dabbler .

The controller comes with a charger which is a 115v unit.

Opinions please on if it would be better to purchase a 240v to 115v power supply so I can use the railpro unit or to purchase a 240v to 6v 1amp unit.

The cost is not my main concern.

Code 55 & Code 70 HO Joint Bars - Sneak Peak

Progress has been made today on the code 70 and code 55 joint bars!

The test cuts are finished and I expect to release complete sets later this week.
For now, here is a sneak peak!

I am planning only 4 hole variants for these sizes, unless you talk me out of it.

Roundhouse and yard picture

Hello Everyone,

My friend gave me a picture of a yard and roundhouse. I am wondering if anyone recognizes it.  It does not have any marking on the back that would give me a clue to where it is located.  Thanks for your help.
