Progress has been made today on the code 70 and code 55 joint bars!

The test cuts are finished and I expect to release complete sets later this week.
For now, here is a sneak peak!

I am planning only 4 hole variants for these sizes, unless you talk me out of it.

The code 55 is a flat bar style, the code 70 is a channel bar style.

Code 55:

These will compliment our current line of Code 83 & Code 100 joint bars.

Cheers!

Really Tiny!!

Those code 55 joint bars are only .024" wide!

N Scale?

Hmmm... will those work in N scale for code 55 too? They should fit, I think... and I'm certainly not crazy enough to measure the bolts. I'm thinking about overall length.

Since you don't have to actually carry an inventory in the conventional sense, it would be nice to have those available for code 80 and code 55 in N, too.

Code 55!

I actually thought about asking for code 55, but then I figured they would be too small to be practical.  I'm thrilled to see that you're able to make them!  Any idea what the cost will be?

The price will be the same

The price will be the same as the other joint bar sets.
 $15.50 per set including shipping.

We won't know the count per set until I have them laid out, but it will be a few more per set than the Code 83's.

N scale

I'm not sure how these will work out at 4mm long, but I will try it!

Since we're working with insanely small anyway... why not!

ok, this is insane....

You asked for it!

I will need sunlight to get good photos, but you get the idea.

HO Code 70 in the background at the top, N Code 70/80 on the left, 55 on the right. 4mm long!

Is there actually any appetite for these in N scale?

in proper light

...the N code 55 will look just like the HO code 55 but with the bolts closer together.
