DCC - Electrical

**Disclaimer: I have no idea what I am doing!!**

OK with that out of the way, watch me attempt to add LED lighting to my Free-mo modules. I am not an electronics person at all and electrical work is my least favorite part of the hobby. I have wanted to add lighting to my modules but I have not really been sure of what I am doing, so I have been holding off on that part of the project.

So, watch me attempt this new project, or fail miserably. Either way I hope it is entertaining...

Almost buried siding/spur

Gents,
I've been searching my bookmarks for a link to something I found online a while back that showed how to make a spur running through something like a construction materials yard (iirc) and the rails are almost buried right up to the top of the rails. Very realistic, There was a structure in the scene too.
I might have seen it here, but if so I haven't found the magic search term. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, much obliged for the link again.

Continental Grain Cars

Locos - Rolling stock (general)

I started working on some Continental Grain covered hoppers. The darker ones are Exactrail cars that I used an airbrush to do a fade on. After watching Garys video im starting to rethink that, especially since they turned out darker than I wanted. The other 4 ribbed 4427s are P2K kits and the 6 ACF 4650s are Intermoutain. Which was like finding a needle in a haystack since they were sold out a log time ago. I was able to find a shop that had all 6 road numbers. I cant remember the name of the shop, but it was somewhere in PA and the guys name was Fred Nixon, super nice guy.

Signal and Detection systems

I am at the stage with my layout that I need to finalize my wiring. But in order to do that I need to consider signals and detection.

My prototype appears to have used ABS with TT&TO.

I may end up having to run it like it had CTC as the tower operators the prototype had at 10 different locations I am modeling would take up all available people leaving nobody to run a train.
