Advantage Code 80 or Code 55 N Scale Track?
I find my head spinning at times when I think about using Code 55 or Code 80 track on my new N Scale layout.
What experience have you had with each?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? The good, the bad and the ugly!
Walthers DCC friendly double crossover?
I am debating on purchasing an HO scale Walthers double crossover #6 (the DCC friendly version, part# 948-8812). I did a little bit of research and I can't find too much information, and the reviews seem mixed.

New Trackwork for the Hershey Plant...
Today I spent the day installing the new track work around the south side of the new Hershey Plant.
When I designed the track work for the plant I had an added benefit that it made both the south & north sides of the layout in this area flow a lot smoother and also added another passing siding and storage track.
TOMA Ideas in practice
I have been wanting to explore what can be done with 48" sections - module style without fixed end connections - or The One Module Approach or TOMA.
Now that I have actually started to create sawdust it is clear that some more forethought would have been benifitial. Not too late though as this is a chainsaw. Some of my concerns may be no big deal but I thought I'd post them here for your imput.
Fastening ME and CVT Flex Track to Homasote and/or Cork Roadbed
Good evening.
What method(s) is currently in vogue for fastening Micro Engineering Flex Track and Central Valley HO Tie Strips to Homasote or Cork Roadbed?
Would prefer a method that allows the Flex Track and Tie Strip to be easily moved and/or removed..
Thank you.
Trackwork
Has anyone kitbashed a Central Valley through girder bridge into a skewed girder bridge? The abutments are angled and the ends of the girders are not perpendicular to each other. Through truss bridges are often skewed as well. I was recently exploring the George's Creek RR of the former Western Maryland (formerly Cumberland & Pennsylvania RR.) There are many crossings of George's Creek on skewed girder bridges.

Staging
Okay, so... and hear me out... as this may be more controversial than religion, and politics combined... but...
What if...
... I don't build any staging?
At what point would the universe unravel, and implode upon itself in a great big heat death?
Like... what if, I just have a small fiddle yard, that is also used for switching or something? Or not even that?
Oh... man... now I feel like a REBEL!

EZ Track, so crazy, it might...
So, this idea is so crazy, that it just might work.
I'm kinda just posting this as a blog, so I can keep track for myself on this, though, comments are always welcome...

Heat setting Walthers Goo
Hi All,
A question I have ........on a brand new pkg of Walthers Goo it states Temp. range -40 to 250* Heat cured up to 400* .
Is this similar to Pliobond in which it can be heat set?
One-way Runaround?
I found this little runaround that appears to be still active but has the switch stands removed at the far end, at the turnout leading to the industries and at the turnout for an abounded industry.
