Minturn - Kings Divide & Eastern RR, a Colorado inspired HOn3 layout build in Sweden.
Hi all, this is a blog to show the build of my new HOn3 layout.
It is to be a protolanced layout based on D&RGW and other Colorado 3 feet gauge railroads in the 1930's.
Next up!
Here is the next project already started. This is another Walther’s Mainline car. I love these cars, as they produce quite a few shortline roadnames no one else does, plus they’re inexpensive cars but look decent. This car is based on a prototype car, and is patched in several different spots with different color paint. The car also has quite a bit of rust and grime on it.
A model Railroad in Kuwait
I was sent this and the gentleman asked for me to share it. It takes all kinds to make the world go round, and indeed some are model railroaders. Even in the middle east.
This G scale model is in Kuwait

8.5"x47" Mini TOMA layout that stores in only 4"x8.5"x11.75"
Hello all I have finally done it gotten myself a layout albeit a very small one but one with room for infinite expansion. The layout will be made of lasercut modules each measuring 11.75"x8.5" in size with a height of only 3/4" they feature tabs that allow the modules to stack together and store in a very small space. The layout itself will be used with a removable casset and as seen in the image (not to scale) features 4 spurs each holding at least two 40ft. cars.
Additions to the Roster

A B&O 36 ft car from an MDC car Removed the side grabs and made the door left opening. Added Tahoe 5'6" arch bar trucks. Art Griffin Decals, with Sunshine Model chalk marks. Weathering is colored pencil and air brushed dust and soot.
Garden Railroad Musings
My main focus is my HO Scale Nicholas & Ashley Creek Ry. But my wife likes to garden, and during the Summer months I like to be outdoors too. Recently I've gotten a more receptive response to the idea of a small Garden Railroad, so, I've been playing with ideas. My plan for this blog is to explore G scale and develop ideas that I might use in the future. Suggestions and insights are welcome!
