Railfan Danny Harmon's video "Railfanning Jacksonville 09" includes a picture of a track greaser at about the 6 minutes 30 seconds . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9djPeKGFz0&t=346s
Friday Follies (or, What The Heck Did I Do?)
So, the last time I'd every driven spikes, or soldered a throttle (Onboard), or aimed a spitting Badger airbrush at rolling stock, was before my USAF change of station move from K.I. Siberia, er, K.I. Sawyer AFB in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, to Griffiss AFB in Rome, NY, right in the middle of that unpleasantness called "Desert Storm". 1991. Fast forward some 28 years and a dozen optician visits later, here I sit at a workbench again.
The Cats Are GONE!!!
I have been away from the hobby for a bit, due to family. Our daughter returned home to finish college, We support all our children in their endeavors. Unfortunately she came with two cats. We love our daughter, not so much the cats.

I started a blog in 2017 to document the creation of my Z scale Alpine layout (all Marklin locos and rolling stock with mixed products for just about everything else). You can see my posts at the end of this page.
I went with Z scale because I wanted to make the most of a layout in a limited space and I had bought some Marklin Z rolling stock, locos and track many years ago for "the day" I would start a layout.
Oops, what's your caption?
Caption: I'm sure glad I don't have to pay to clean up this mess.
