Detail Associates grills

Hello all. I know it is a long shot, but does anyone have a set of Detail Associates F7 grills, part #229-2704, they would like to sell? They seem to be back ordered until December. Thanks for looking.    Also, I love all the great photos and info that I have found on this forum and the great job the MRH staff is doing with ezine. I look forward to every months release.         Mark

Layouts/MRH - pictures, video & computer questions

With the new layout starting I wanted (and needed) a better camera to document it. I got one for Father's Day(Panasonic DMC ZS19).  It's a camera that is way smarter than I am and more camera than I will ever need.  It shoots up to 16:9 4320 x 2432 and 4:3 4320 x 3240 stills and AVCHD 1920 x 1080 @ 60 fps HD video.

I got too busy to get a new photo together for the weekend photo thread so I have to post a quick video that I completed last week.

Building complex crossings

Hi,

Once of the nicer features of the MRH forums is that if you maintain a Wordpress blog, you can simply copy/paste an entire blog update directly here and it formats correctly, even the links to larger clickable images work!

The details follow in the next post, below.

A.c.c. glue

I have been happy with the brand 'gorilla glue',which begs the question, are all acc glues(super glue) the same? Viscosity not with standing.

thanks,john.

Locomotive Maintenance - You really should get a set of these rollers

I saw this in one of your recent issues and sent for it.

It sure makes it easier to do my maintenance on my engines.

This purchase was certainly one of my better ideaa for my layout equipment.I

photo of prototype rail pile

I'm looking for a prototype photo of piles of rails. Reviewed General discussion for last 2 years and found nothing like this. Help, please?

O scale relative to HO question

Am I right in assuming that a 12'X18" layout would upsize to 24'X36" in O scale?  I am thinking about moving to O for an urban switching yard 25'x20' along 2 walls.

Thanks,

David
