Broadway limited SD40-2 wiring

My friend gave me a decoder from a Broadway Limited SD40-2. So far I can run my engine but having trouble with front and rear lights. Does anybody know how to wire them?

Bonhomie & Hattiesburg Southern RR steam RR under Thundering Skies.

About the 70,s in the UK I had a Vinyl recording of the Bonhomie & Hattiesburg Southern RR "Steam RR under Thundering Skies.". It was those sounds that brought me to US Railroading. The only thing I can find is Vinyl I no longer have a record player so it would have to be tape or CD.

if anyone has any leads I would appreciate them

Moisture probes at Grain Elevators

Does anyone know how far back these probes go for checking moisture in corn and beans at grain elevators?  I've found lots of photos of scale houses with no probes at all.  Just a few have them.  I've included a couple of photos below.  Thanks for any help I can get.  Tom Johnson

Freelance

I was wondering how many doing freelancing where they have a lot of different road names on their layout.

I love the Providence & Worcester RR, but not many make models for this short line RR in New England.  Not so much to add to my rolling stock, but more the loco roster I was thinking of adding just other road names that might not be in New England, but surrounding regions like the Norfolk & Southern., NJ, etc.

Not trying to start a big discussion on freelance against Protypical.

Removing Bachman Trucks

How do you remove the trucks from Bachman cars.  There are no screws and I am assuming that you pry them off but do not want to destroy one to find out. Thanks.

N scale vs. HO Ahhhhhhhh

Hello to all, I just became a member a short while ago. I will try and make this a short as I can. I have be helping a friend with his large N scale layout and its be fun and have decided to start a layout my self. Know thsi would be a rather small layout, shelf around room on three walls so like a U. Looking at roughly 8'x 7.5'x 8 to 9' at a depth of 24" max.
