The Hype Cyle
Technology changes quickly. The Gartner Group is a company that does quite a bit of research and tries to put things into perspective to help their customers make better decision.

Walthers ordering
I see Walthers is at it again. Nice discount on their 1953 Ford Courier ambulance. Was $15.00 NOW $7.98! When you go to order it is "Out of stock". Guess you can sell any thing at a good price if you don't have it. Bought some passenger cars one time, on sale, and after two years of not in stock I finally gave up and canceled the order. They sent reminders if I still wanted them every six months instead of letting me know they (evidently) were not going to carry them any more. They still don't list them.
Storing detail parts
Looking for suggestion on storing and organizing detail parts. Now they are in a draw in my large tool box. Can never find the parts that I need, when I know that I have them.
Thanks - Tom
Weekly Photo Fun - January 15th to January 28th, 2016
Great work everyone last week! Time to start of this week's photo thread!
As always, we get as much out of your in-process photos as we do the highly polished "all done" shots!

Diversity is the keystone of the MRH forum............
Check it out...........we have a very diverse group here. On the first page of new posts, we have 2 members building TT scale layouts. That's really cool. We also have a few in O scale, like me. I understand that TT is making a come back. Are there any S scalers here?
Love it,
Peter
Buffer Cars
Hi,
Having just purchased 2 of the great Tangent Models BNSF Buffer Cars, can anyone let me know
if these cars should be fitted at least at one end with a double shelf coupler?, if they are used with oil tank cars.
Thanks
Brian

After 10 years My HO Scale Driline Layout is Complete!
I know, I know, it's never complete. But I just finished up the last little bit of scenery under the Duck Creek Bridge. I used Envirotex Lite for the water with a bit of Polly Scale Dirt for that dirty mud color. I could have finished the layout several years ago if I really wanted to, but I built it on my time. Because of that I had opportunities to pursue other interests as well like photography.

Dream Workshop
Ok so with the huge Power Ball jackpot tonight, I was thinking. Everyone talks about dream layouts, but no one talks about the shop needed to build that dream layout.
So if you hit the big jackpot what would your dream workshop look like,
Where would you locate it and what would you have in it?
