I don't get it - continuous running
Okay, I get what continuous running is and have it on my layout, here's my problem. In the 2016 Great Model Railroads one of the features is "Right Here In River City." The article is written by Clark Propst the layout owner, and sadly photos by the late and great Andy Sperandeo. On page 59 the plan for River City is laid out and to me this is a point to point layout. In the article Mr. Propst refers twice to continuous running on this layout and I have yet figured out how that is done.
Weekly Photo Fun - January 8th to January 14th, 2016
Great work everyone last week! Time to start of this week's photo thread!
As always, we get as much out of your in-process photos as we do the highly polished "all done" shots!

Transporting wood treatment chemicals by rail?
Fellow modelers,
This is my first post on this forum so I'm hoping I did everything right. I've been a modeler for many years and I'm returning to HO after modeling on the dark side of On30 for the past 10 years.
15" radius curve
Just joined the group. Been away from HO model railroading for about 25 years. I'm going to put together another layout. It's going to have to be limited to 3-1/2 X 7 feet in size. I'm planing to do '20's and '30's rolling stock so my largest locomotive will only have 6 driving wheels. Will I run in to problems using 15" radius curves?
Thanks for any opinions. Jim B.

Flying with Trains?
Tomorrow I leave the somewhat frozen tundra of Central Indiana for the Prototype Modelers Meet in SUNNY Coco Beach, Florida. I'm considering taking some models with me on the flight but I'm concerned that TSA / security will need to dismantle a locomotive or not allow me to check or carry-on my models.
Q: Can you give me any advice on whether or not I should take my possibly "suspicious" models along for the ride?
Tribute to MRH and Staff
I purchased Model Railroader's Calendars for myself and my son, Neil, for Christmas. I have been doing this for years. The great photos by Lou Sassi, and Paul Dolkos as well as some great layouts like the Hoosac Valley and the RPI club to name just a couple of many great photographers and model railroads made it inspiring. This along with good editing and choices by the MR staff made for a great calendar. I did the same this year.

Mystery of video links not working for me solved - NOT a MRH problem!
I had posted previously that I couldn't play videos from the links on the latest MRH magazine, and in fact couldn't play any video links from any of the previous issues of MRH. Here's the answer:

Can't play videos using links in January issue
I'm not able to play any videos by clicking on the links in the January issue. I've tried three different PCs (all running Windows 7) and three different browsers (IE, Chrome, and Firefox). Anybody else having this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks!
