Spray Booths - what is your solution?
There is a recent blog posted on "Installing a layout Spray Booth". I like what he did but there is no detail on where the ventilation units came from. I use a plastic storage container tipped on it's side, a bright white under kitchen cabinet LED light unit, and a inexpensive bathroom ventilation fan. The 3" ducting is stored in a storage caddy until I extend it out the basement door.
I don't shoot oil based paints (Floquil) any longer, so the lack of an "explosion proof" fan is not a factor.
NWSL Sensipress+ and Riveter+?
I pretty much know this is a stretch, but it never hurts to ask:
ME ladder track system
Does anyone have experience with Microengineering’s ladder track system as opposed to Peco #5s

It's another week . . . post 'em if you got 'em.
New Tracks Virtual Train Show
Got a taste of what I was missing yesterday. A train show! It’s not like being there but it was interesting, informative and a lot of fun. Lots of vendors, familiar faces and some new ideas! I enjoy being an attendee as well as being a vendor. Both of the enjoyments were there! New Tracks Virtual Train Show is the brainchild of Jim Kellow, a Master Model Railroader. The vendors were some of the smaller vendors mixed in with major railroad media producers.
Roy C Link - RIP
Hi all,
Some sad news arrived in my e-mail inbox. Leading UK industrial railway modeller, kit manufacturer and publisher Roy C Link has passed away in the UK. The following link is to the obituary on the Narrow Gauge and Industrial website https://narrowgaugeandindustrial.co.uk/blogs/news/roy-c-link-sad-news

TYCO HO (And AHM/Model Power/Con-Cor/Bachmann.....etc.) Truss bridge.
Is there an actual prototype for this bridge? Or, as in many cases it was a made-up item for the tor train market? I have 4 and want to use them in my layout but I'd like to know about the accuracy of these bridges before I use them.
Thanks for any info/help.

HO Portable Grain Augers
Getting ready to model a small feed mill and looking for an HO scale portable grain auger. These are the types that are usually pulled and powered by a small farm tractor.
Looked but so far it appears folks are scratch building.
If you know a source please pass this on.
Thanks!
Joe
Is it a model?!
I came across this pic of the Potomac Eagle, and it dawned on me how much this looks like model train layout (especially the work of members on this forum). It would make a great scene on someone's layout.
Modular setup design (Free-mo) - which CAD?
I'm looking for a best practices from other modular clubs how they plan their layout at shows. Our club modules can (mostly) be connected in different configurations. I'm not looking for help deciding which module at a given location, I'm looking for tips on how to draw it once we've decided. While the process we use to place each module is adequate, I think it could be much better.
Do other clubs draw each module in a CAD program and arrange them? If so, what CAD program have you found works best?
