Modeling general discussion
Large passenger train releases.
I wonder if I am alone in questioning the apparent trend of n scale manufacturers confining their releases of passenger trains to long protypes with many cars or pairs of locomotives? The financial commitment and/or the space required to run such trains, although excellent in quality, are surely deterrents to newcomers to the hobby, to those with limited budgets andto those that who just cannot have long layouts.

Need particular "info" on Walthers Bridges
I have already contacted Walthers, and they are not able to help me (the staff is working from home and don't have access to their warehouse to get the info I need).

Video lighting, Joe's suggestion...
I know I recently read a post or maybe an article from Joe F. wherein he suggested particular lights for making videos. I have searched here and on the google machine and can't track it down. Anybody remember?
Or, what are you using for video lighting? I have a couple of drop lights and I plan to try putting the same LED lamps in them that are in my ceiling, but figured there might be something better.
thanks

Where to find 1/48th scale Cars and Trucks
I will be modeling the early 1930s in On30 and want to find a manufacturer of 1/48th scale; or, there abouts of Model "T"s and Model "A" era autos, suggestions?
Locomotive spinning its wheels
I have an oval in my office where I run an N scale train. I have 27 cars and 2 identical Bachmann GP40 locos running back to back. It's been running mostly fine for a while but today the lead loco started stalling and spinning its wheels when it came to one curved section of the flat track. So I know it isn't an electrical problem. I turn the power up and it just spins faster. I cleaned the wheels of the locos and it doesn't make a difference. The track is all the same, so not sure why it's picking this particular section to have issues.

Help with QSI Ver 9 Titan decoder
How do I turn off the momentum in a QSI Ver. 9 Titan decoder?
We operate with live loads and because we use this particular engine to switch one of the online coal tipples we need to be able to position the hopper car precisely under the coal chute. Hence the problem.
We use a Digitrax UT1 throttle and use the toggle switch to control movement rather than constantly change speed with the knob. I have searched Google, The MRH search feature, read the QSI manual and adjusted the settings using JMRI and I haven't been able to turn off the momentum.
clear shelf edging
Hi All, Does anyone know if there are clear plastic strips suitable for attaching to the front of display shelves to prevent trains falling off from accidental contact or derailment? I have some narrow storge shelves that are one track wide and would like something clear attached to the front edge to catch any car that might get tipped toward the edge. 2 or 3 inch wide strips of plastic would be ideal. I can cut strips from acrylic sheet on a table saw but it would be easier if I could find some already cut. Any ideas? .....DaveB
