Modeling general discussion

Reminder
Just a reminder for everybody to plan on completing any pending electrical or wiring projects in January.
You don't want to work on electrical in February, its a "short" month.

Cornhill and Atherton - 10 years in the making
On checking I was pleasantly surprised to see that the individual C&A blog segments total just short of half a million reads and well over 3000 comments
With Christmas fast approaching and the C&A also close on 10 years from conception I thought I would make a quick (4 minute) slide show of images very much in a random order:
What do I do with this spot?
Hi Folks:
Ive got this big chunk of real estate left in my layout plan, and I am not real sure what should go in there --
Its a modern day layout depicting a very busy bridge line between the BNSF and UP across LaVeta pass (VERY Freelanced) (and in somewhat of an alternate universe)
The interchange arrival / departure yards work as fiddle / staging yards -- there will be some pass through traffic, passenger traffic (think little to no commercial aviation after 9/11) commuter traffic and tourist line traffic

It's another week . . . post 'em if you got 'em.
Dealers
I for one am disappointed when any hobby supplier closes. I was a customer many years ago of Caboose. I now try to use those suppliers that provide a positive image. I have at this time sent an order to company that I have used in the past with good results. This time I am regretting my order. I have sent them 5 emails requesting the status of my order which they have received payment . I have heard nothing to date, All I get is "waiting for fulfillment". Nothing was on their site that stated an item I ordered was not in stock.

Caboose closes, blames Covid
Caboose in Colorado has posted this on their door ...
Thanks to Joe
I just read your article on led’s — like the great work you have done with track cleaning — it is a real service to the hobby.
YOur info is smart without being preachy or bragging about how smart you are. BTW — they did not teach lux or lumens in my high school physics. Or maybe I just forgot — most likely

What do you love most about this hobby?
I'll start.
The hobby constantly forgives my constant mistakes.
Unlike most of the posters here I am not extremely patient, methodical or talented. However, with this hobby I can blaze ahead without thinking or planning perfectly and be given one other chance or even more if needed.
DAP Alex calk drying time
Hey Guys, How long does it take for Alex caulk to dry when its used to hold down track -- at least enough so that you can move on to the next piece, do soldering etc?
Thanks
TIM
