Iowa Scaled Engineering's Motorman now available
Iowa Scaled Engineering has just released a new product called "The Motorman". The Motorman is an automatic reversing train shuttle controller for both DC and DCC locomotives. Using TrainSpotter infrared proximity detectors at each end, the Motorman will continuously drive the train back and forth, automatically stopping and reversing at the end of track. With control of the speed, locomotive address, delay time, and other settings, a fully customized experience can be created.
Painting and Decaling
I have a Front Range ACF covered hopper that i would like to decal. Its unpainted, and the grey in which it is molded is the perfect color for the final model. Can i just spray a few coats of gloss so that i can get good results with the decals or do i really need to paint the model and then prep for decals.
Would appreciate your opinions.

2021 New Year's Resolution already broken
I vowed to give my lighting obsession a rest for a while but already broke that resolution yesterday.
Does anyone know of any Model Railroading support groups?
Trix/Marklin C Track Opinions/Reviews??
Has anyone used Marklin Trix C Track?
What are people's thoughts about it?
I'm considering it for a layout.

Paint and weathering questions
Actually more like decal and weathering questions. I'm not particularly a rookie on these topics, although I'm far from an expert.

Pledge Revive it AKA Future
I decided to give the Revive it a try for the first time for a decaling project. I sprayed it with an air brush and it gave me a nice high gloss finish for decaling. However it went on a little thick around some detail. The label says it can be stripped with ammonia. So my question is, does ammonia attack plastic?

Infrastructure Week on the Visalia Electric Railroad
More like Infrastructure month but that just doesn't have the same "ring" as week.
I've recently been trying to annex more space in the garage to expand the VE but that hit a brick wall.......mind you, there are no bricks in this joint but somehow my plans still found one to run into.
So, if this is the only space the VE is going to inhabit it looks like we better get in gear and make it as good as we can.
