HELP! Contacting Orlando NMRA 2017 convention committee
I'm trying to locate information on the 2017 NMRA Orlando Convention Committee so I can contact them about some promotion, but for the life of me, I can't find any contact links online for this convention. Nothing, nada.
Is there anyone who is on the 2017 NMRA Orlando convention committee who is on here and can call us at 800-920-6020 and ask for Joe Fugate?
Please? Pretty please?

Anyone else getting lots of spam supposedly from eBay?
One method I've used to locate model railroading items coming up for auction on eBay is their saved search tool. Recently I've been monitoring my incoming emails and have noticed that I'm getting a lot of messages that claim to come from ebay@ebay.com but actually are nothing but spam. I'm assuming that this has something to do with the fact I have an active account but I'm not really sure that's the case. I've been forwarding these to spoof@ebay.com and have gotten numerous replies from them identifying these as spam but I sure would like to kn
Cricut Explore One Machines and Supplies Now at Wal-Mart
I was at my local Wal-Mart last night and they are now carrying the Cricut Explore Machines and a limited amount of supplies. However the big surprise is that the the shelf price on the Cricut Explore One is just $139.00. Normal retail on these is $199. It is also the same price on the web site. I don't know if this is a short term special or if that is going to be the price going forward, but if you have been thinking about getting one of these, now would probably be the time.
Simulating night with RGB LEDs on a large layout?
Recently, I've been rethinking my layout's lighting. I'm almost at the point of actually installing more than just the room lights, and I changed my plan from slim T8 fluorescent fixtures to LED strips. Now I'm thinking that as long as I have themf or daylight, why not try to do a sunset/night animation?

Weekly Photo Fun: November 5 - November 11
I didn't see a new one so here goes!
After a lot of dinking around looking for a wiring short and re-laying the track leading into the engine house, # 20 was finally able to back into the engine house w/o derailing or stalling!! I consider this a positive achievement that took about a week to accomplish. Now I would consider it a greater accomplishment if someone could tell me how to get it upright!! It is upright in my photos folder so I turned it a quarter turn and it still is like this.
Sorry,
Peter

i am looking into an airbrush and I'd like opinions. I want to use it for a little bit of everything, weathering, painting buildings and rolling stock... etc. I want one that preforms well. I've got an air compressor that will work. So what brands/ models do you like and use?
Day 1 of the Railway Modellers Meet of BC
The first day of the Railway Modellers Meet of British Columbia (http://railwaymodellersmeetofbc.ca) is pretty much done except for the operating sessions which are ongoing as I type. Approximately 100 people have signed up for the meet, participating in the aforementioned operating sessions (Thursday and Friday evening), clinics, model displays and hanging out, talking trains. Tomorrow the RMMBC clinics continue, as does the model display, banquet and other meet activities.
