Ten good reasons to use ESU Loksound

I have recently had a refreshingly wonderful customer experience with ESU Loksound and felt I should share it here in the form of a top ten list which I will place in the next few posts.

Your opinion please / I've got the blues!

I'm sick and tired of looking at blue foam on the areas of my layout where I haven't done scenery.  I work SLOWLY and I was thinking about going ahead and painting all of my blue foam a dirt color and sprinkling on ground foam.  This would also help my photos look better.  I still plan on doing detailed scenery and structures and would just apply over the ground foam.

What do you think?  Here are some pictures of my "blues".

1500 Lumen LED work light for $7.00

I was at the orange big box store yesterday and came across this LED work light.  I've purchased LED work lights previously from Amazon for illumination for photo shoots. The specs for the light are as follows: Light Output 1632 lumens, 22.69 watts, lumens per watt 71.96, color accuracy (color rendering index) 81, and light color 4075 (bright white).

Module Rotisserie update

I made a couple changes to my module rotisserie. Having an unsupported rotisserie is OK if it is stationary, but I am wanting to start tiling my train room floor so I need to move it around. I added 2x4 supports to the bottom to tie the uprights together and make it rigid so it can be moved without putting stress on the module. I added 2" casters with rubber tread so I can roll it.  The 2x4's are removable so the uprights can still be easily stored if not used.

Non eBay Auction worked out well for me, anyone else have any experience..............

Recently I received an e-mail about an auction event for the sale of a large estate of O scale items.  Never having any experience with one of these I decided to check it out.  There were probably 20 pages of items for sale with multiple decent photos of each item for bid.  I did not see anything I really had to have until I found a lot (group) of figures, parts and accessories.  I saw a whole lot of Artista figures and bags and bags of Kiel Line and other parts so I decided to place a bid.  I filled out the questionnaire and received a bidder's number.  I

Looking for a painter

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for someone who does custom painting on HO scale diesels. I have the decals and paint (unless they have the same color I'm using). If they can add decoders (non-sound), that would be a plus. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. (Moderators-if this post is not acceptable, please delete and let me know).

Thanks to all who reply!

Ludendorff Bridge (The Bridge At Remagen)

Last weekend, I saw this layout at the Warley Exhibition (one of the biggest shows in the UK). I had been watching its progress on a blog for several months. I thought I should bring this fine piece of modelling to the attention of a wider audience, as it depicts a scene that is a part of the history of the USA.
