Air Brush Cleaning
I have had a multi year frustration with air brushes. Seem to spend more time unclogging them then painting. But seem to about have the hang on this. This morning I sprayed two colors, one Valejo Air and one Modleflex. Came out great. A thoroughly cleaned up the brush after each color. As a final check it was spraying thinner fine when I put it away. I was using an acrylic thinner made by Testors. I went through about half the bottle, which is getting a little expensive. Any tips on something cheaper to use. I've heard Wi

Factory closing in China
There is a report that a Chinese factory that produces all the tooling for quite a few of the big companies that produce the majority of locomotives and rolling stock has folded up shop and gone it of bussiness. If this is true it will cause a severe blow to the hobby. A spokesman for one company confirmed the report but questioned its impact on the hobby. Rapido, Bachman and a few others have their own factories and will not be affected. At a time when the hobby seems to be growing this would be a setback.
