Durn Good Work - MRH

Joe & Community-

I have really enjoyed both MRH the magazine and the website. Thanks for the great articles. Also, for those of you that haven't "mined" the discussion forums and blog posts check it out! There are "lively," but respectful discussions which really delve deeply into topics - with a lot of illustrative pictures, as well. Probably double the quantity of Magazine info in the forums every month.

Engineer that turns in his seat

Can anyone help me find an article from the last year or so where the engineer figure was made to rotate 180* allowing him to see the back up move.  This was accomplished with a solenoid or very small servo connected thru a wire into his butt.  The action was triggered each time the decoder saw a reverse code.  It might have been in a O scale locomotive and magazine.

Has anyone made small dioramas for model trains?

Hello all,

I have a Lionel display layout for my three rail trains but I also kit bash and scratch build in S and On30 for fun. I built a small diorama with two 3' lengths of track parallel ballasted and some what sceniced to learn how to do scale like scenery in the larger scales in this case S scale for taking pics of my trains that I build be they kit, scratch, bashed or even R-T-R. here are some pics of that test diorama.

Too much

Too much DCC ! Too much Diesels. I'll keep my subscriptions to

What Happened?

What happened to the April 2015 "What's on your workbench" ?

I did a search and it says at this time that around 23 hours have gone by since last posting. Did it get "Spamed" by accident?

Freedom One Controllers by MRC

Club is considering using Freedom One for sound on our DC narrow gauge loop.

I searched this site for Freedom One and found nothing. Does anyone have experience or wisdom or both with this product line?

Thank you,

DrJolS

Guide for authors

Thanks for posting the guide. Glad I just write a blog for a local club. They don't seem to mind my spelling and grammar errors. I guess the content is more important.  It has been my experience that only the good spellers care.   That said I will keep the guide handy, I do try.  But why submit an article when it is far easier to just post it, IMHO?

I wonder how many boo boos I made in this post?
