Walthers DCC friendly double crossover?

I am debating on purchasing an HO scale Walthers double crossover #6 (the DCC friendly version, part# 948-8812).  I did a little bit of research and I can't find too much information, and the reviews seem mixed.

Arduino DC wireless dc train controller using a pair of NRF24L01

I am after a way to get wireless Arduino remote train controls. I am looking at using an NRF24l01 with two Arduino mini. Now the WDMRC has 12 sections (2-3 years away from complete rewire to have DCC ) these are an interim solution.

I saw this video and it is a starting point i think.

Video from the FREMO regional meeting at Hanau

A couple of weeks ago, I visited the FREMO regional meeting at Hanau near Frankfurt. I made a video during my visit. But I had to remove the first one because of the bad quality.

Here you could see the new version.

I hope you enjoy the video.

Updating scenery on the EK Sub.

I have been updating scenery and track work on my EK subdivision. This is the front area of my scrap yard. After 7 years, updating was necessary. Static grass wa snot used originally, but does seem to add a lot.  And yes, since I model the 90's..that old truck needs some rust !!
