Unique turnout - buildable?
As I continue to research the Frank Jones Brewing Company for my N scale layout, I noticed this extremely interesting turnout. I doubt I will find a commercial turnout like this, and I do not have the skills to create my own turnout that does this. My current track plan excludes it and doesn't bother with the right hand of the two tracks that head down the page. But if I had such a turnout, it adds more switching for a smaller industry across Albany St from the brewery.

Sanity check... layout construction next step?
Dear friends,
I'm in a need of a sanity check...or maybe just a few more pairs of eyes to point out some glaring obvious thing I forgot to do.
I believe I've reached a milestone - fully completed roadbed for my Staging deck. The plywood is secured, the cork is glued and painted. Next step would be to start laying track down, or is that the next step?
Have I forgotten something minute (or major), a "side quest" I have to fulfill before the gang crews are unleashed onto the sea of brown?
HOn3 25-Ton Class B Climax - scratch, bash or forgetaboutit?
So as I’m researching possible central Pennsylvania early 1900s prototypes to model, it seems that the narrow gauge railroads that are of the most interest to me all ran Climaxes in the 25- to 35- ton range. The White Deer & Loganton, Eagles Mere Railroad, Lewisburg & Buffalo Valley, Susquehanna & Eagles Mere and the Laurelton Lumber Company all ran Climax locomotives in the 25-ton range.
So... I gotta have one if at all possible.
This blog will be where I keep research, beg for help, document a build or bash, and beg for help. :)

Frank Jones Brewing Company plans needed
I have redesigned my Portsmouth, NH area for which I will soon begin to lay track. A major focus of the redesign will be the Frank Jones Brewing Company. I have started research online, but photos are not plentiful and anything showing actual building footprints so far has been elusive.
Keeping in mind this is N scale, I am planning a pretty large area. I have roughly 32"x20" or the equivalent of somewhat more than 420'x260' for the complex inclusive of track.

Non Train Related (unless ideas?)

More downstate Railfanning
I did some more(and very cold) railfanning today. You can see it here.

Animated / Lighted Signalman Figure
Somewhere in the past (and I believe it came from a old Model Railroader Magazine) I once saw an ad or an announcement for a signalman figure that had a swinging arm with a lighted lantern in his hand.? Does anyone else recall such a figure??
Can't recall the scale. It might have even been a Lionel product.
I can't find anything on such a figure even with google. Just wondering if my memory is playing tricks on me.
Wigwag Willie or something like that ??
Brass etchings to make a challenging resin kit a better build
