HO water tanker
Here's the beginning of my Fire tanker for my layout.
Started as a boley international 4 door water tanker removed the screw behind the front bumper in order to remove the cab.
Then studied the frame and tank to try and visualize what my mind was seeing.
Went on the web looking at Midwest Fire tankers gained a lot of ideas going.
Have since changed layout directions this will become a West Virginia region tanker.
Off to the train stash and there it was right on top of the second tub i opened a wiking Pete tractor with sleeper.

What I Haven't Been Doing This Week
It sure is great when you have a family member that is fully capable & interested in doing the one thing for your layout that you aren’t really capable of doing. I am not a background scenery painter by any means but my newest daughter-in-law certainly is. The video shows just the first two afternoons of her work of which I am most appreciative

Building a trestle
I had enough working on electrical and switched gears to my big trestle. A few commercially built bents, some of my own, basswood, balsa wood, glue, imagination a few days and the scene is coming to life.
Need ideas and help with a design
I have a two module switching layout.

It is just a matter of time in regards to having to pack it up again for a future move.
The last time I had it in storage it came out looking like this. Note the surface of what I call the second module didn't even have track laid on it yet. It basically was a cap for the module that already had roadbed on it.
