Micro Trains SW-9 Decoder

I am trying to determine if there is a decoder that will work for a Micro Trains SW-9.

A while ago, Micro Trains released two sets called the "Wreck Recovery Train" and "MOW Work Train". According to the boxes, the locos that come in these sets are SW-9s.

These are fairly old and I am wondering if anyone knows:

Can these take a decoder (without needing to completely rebuild the frames)?

If so, which decoder?

I can find a number of references for MT SW-1500s, but no SW-9s.

Alco's in the Corn Belt - My Chicago & Indiana TOMA Build

Just a simple chronicle of my latest modeling project: operational scenes along a granger shortline, which recall fond memories from childhood and my experiences as a railroader.

Less than 3 weeks left - Crowd funding the production of model railroad products - HO box and auto cars

I don't think I've seen anyone try to use crowdfunding to raise the capital needed to bring a model railroad product to market, but here is an example.

Prototype Junction. a new company, is raising funds to tool an assortment of HO scale Pratt-truss single-sheathed box and auto cars. These plastic cars would be available RTR and as kits. Parts would be made available also.

Here's the link if you want to learn more about what they are doing and why:

Displaying paint and old turntables

I got tired of not being able to see what color of paint I wanted to use so I took all of my bottles of paint off of 2 turntables and spread them out on my workbench. I can't leave them there and I'd like to repurpose the turntables. Any ideas on how to store the paint bottles so they're out of the way but readily handy and visible? Any ideas on how to repurpose single and double stack turntables?

In the details

Looking at my project and I know without a doubt I am missing one or more items that will come back and bite me.

Can anyone list some things that were missed in their layout planning/design that would fit this particular bill?

I have tried to  make a check  list but again something tells me I am missing one or  more thnigs that are important that if not included..will cost time, money and most importantly my sanity...

BLI Trackmobile with DIY keep alive

Someone asked here a while back about putting a "keep alive" circuit in a BLI trackmobile.  Well that got me thinking on how.

Anyways here are a few photos and a short video.
