Battery Operated Trains, Nuclear Diamond Battery technology

I know this subject has come up on the forum on several occasions, but I never paid much attention to it, nor do I recall how the subject conversation was titled.  .....the idea that we could have battery powered model trains, free from track power.

I was reading my mail today, and this item caught my attention,

Chopping Tool

Hi, I would like to get a recommendation for a good chopping tool. It would be for wood as well as styrene plastic and something that would not "break" the bank.....!

Scalecoat I

Hi everyone,

I am planning on painting several brass locomotives with Scalecoat I in black, green, and graphite primarily. Do you have any tips or techniques, especially with cleanup? I shoot a Paasche VL and have attached manuf. information to avoid duplication of information.

Thanks ahead of time!

1. Disassemble model completely.

2. Thoroughly clean all parts to be sprayed, using any type of household dish soap such as Dawn™ detergent. Clean and rinse with extremely hot water. Air-dry all parts.

Ops Session Setup

I've said before that it's ironic that layout owners seldom operate their own layouts, often playing host for operating sessions instead.
