Masonite Splines

I have started my adventures into spline construction (after getting some tip's last night from the superentendant of nearly everything) i set up a test and took 2 short splines and used "all pourpus adhesive caulk" on them insted of yellow glue and let them set over night the result was very good i could not get them to pry appart even when useing a screw driver on them. So hear are some pictures of my progress i will post more as i go. * and keep in mind when you see my helix i Model in N-scale.

DB150, PR3, Decoder Pro doesn't read from track.

Hi,

As a new user I have been able to get the Digitrax DB150 with PR3 and DecoderPro working with a couple WiThrottles.  What I cannot get working is the "Identify" or "Read From" buttons in DecoderPro to be anything but ghosted out.

Is it the USB interface that is not fully functioning, or the DB150 not support "Read From".

Thanks for assistance,

E. Palmer

MEK

Viewing Joe Fugates Scenery and Bridges DVD he speaks of a product called M.E.K.  which I understood was available in hardware stores.  Well not in these parts - went to three hardware stores today no one had heard of it.  Is it sold under a different name in Canada?  I have a few more stops in my search, later in the month I'll be in the city and can check in the big box hardware stores.

N scale Spar tree

 Hi All

Had a call from Rich at KMP the other day and He said he just finished the Spar tree kit in N scale.  I now have them up on my web site if you need one. Will have stock in  Monday evening and start shipping on Tuesday.

http://www.rslaserkits.com/KMP.html   second item down

This kit makes about a 12 foot tall spar tree, also has parts to make into a loader or yarder tree.

thanks

Powders for zip texturing

Hello!

Which powders do you suggest for Zip Texturing?

Thanks in advance,

Tony Pawley ex UP KATO GP35, now converted into NdeM #8218 (hi nose)

Tony: This is what your loco has become. It has a SOUNDTRAXX sound decoder & a CANON hi nose to resemble prototype, as it looked like in the early 70's, probably pulling the AZTEC EAGLE from Mexico City to Laredo/ TX.
