I sent in a question last week, but don't see it. Is it common practice to ask a yardmaster for permission to enter the yard, or is that just a model railroading thing? John Colley, Port Townsend, WA

Rail Line Closure Sign

Hello everyone,

I've been looking for pictures of a line closure signage. My situation would be something along these lines, a passing siding that is out of order and needs repair.

How is this handled on the prototype?
