Brad Nails to the rescue.
If you have laid track on foam, only to discover your track nails are too short to reach for holding the track down, and you are not crazy about gluing the track down, try Brad Nails. I did, and it works.
I took a strip of two inch Brad Nails, separated them to individual nails, cut them to length with side cutters and lightly ground the ends to a point with my moto tool.

Man Made slow motion switch machine
does anyone here remember ManMade show motion switch machines
if so, i have had my rr stuff boxed up for a few years. i was looking at some
of the stuff a few days ago and saw that the joiner thingie between the motor and the
screw had disintegrated. just wondering if any one has a fix for this. i've tried some
tubing but can't seem to find right size.
Been thinking about building a switching shelf along a wall.
anyway thanks
Pembroke II: Lights
I went back and forth for ages on what to do about lights for Pembroke. On the one hand, I'm familiar with fluorescent lights, and I know I can get ~5000K bulbs relatively easily. On the other hand, vertical space is at a premium, and I really wanted to check out the new LEDs.

DCC Engine moves then stops then moves
H All,
I am new to this website. I think this is great site!!
I have a problem with my DCC with sound Kato diesel loco, it was working great everything worked for a while then one night I wanted to turn on the headlight but I think I pushed a wron button on the controller. Now what happens is the loco moves a distance then pauses then starts back up again the sound never stops so I know I do not have a short, i am thinking I pushed a wrong series of buttons on the controller and now has some kind of starts and stops programmed into it. Anybody seen this before?
