A Winters Worth

It's been a long Winter here in the Northeast, but it allowed for some good modeling time.

Scratch building some rural streetcars

Fir those of you who read my "gang car to steeple cab" forum may have noted I planned to undertake more trolleys using similar techniques. Well, this place is where I'll be writing that. CLUB CARS

We are in the model railroad hobby so love to see cars from other model railroads on the layout.  Two new additions. I have purchased off of eBay 15 undecorated 50ft box cars that I am going to paint Grande Pacific and Mid South for my layout and to swap with other people will post when they are finished.

The Crescent Lines is the name of the Crescent City Model Railroad Club Railroad.

Stewart Alco C-628 & C-630 Running Issues

Hello

For the past few years or so, I've acquired a fleet of three Stewart Alco C-628 locomotives (2 low-hood with big circuit board including mounted LEDs and 1 high-hood with conventional circuit board and standard LEDs). I also have one Alco C-630 that's high-hood and very much the same as the high-hood C-628. These units have made a nice addition to my roster and really capture the feel of how massive the prototypes of these engines were.
