Automobile Bridge
Hello All:
On my HO layout in progress I would like to model a bridge that carries vehicles and pedestrians which ends at the edge of the layout. I am looking for suggestions on kits or parts to use in making the bridge. I had seen a manufacturer who makes a vehicle bridge in my web travels and thought I saved the information.
Thanks for any suggestions or point in the right direction.
Summer Shunting Shelf Project
Sunbathers and Radio Stations
Sunbathers believe they have found a secluded spot on the mountain, but it might not be as secluded as they believe. . . .LOL!
KPEG, "The Voice of the Valley" is now on the air. Peggy now has a place on the railroad as do other friends who are reflected in streets, signs, buildings and other named scenery.
Progress Photos
Have finally completed 98% of the scenery (except for small details) that covers the storage tracks on the layout. the "Greater Nickel Plate" is showing some real progress. With rail arriving at the hobby shop by the end of the month, tracklaying can begin in earnest.
Alcove Expansion - Mural progress as of 8-6-11
The artist that is painting my backdrop continues to make great progress and paints in "layers" adding details on to already painted areas. It's really starting to take shape and below are pictures taken today.
I love the way that the mural draws in your eye - away from the narrow benchwork and sparse foreground scenery.
Gazillions of signs to download....
I found this link at another board. Be ready for HUNDREDS of signs, mostly old:

There are a lot of signs per page, and a lot of pages. Each page prints to 8 1/2 X 11. This guy did an excellent work!.
Scenic Express Super Trees - Advise / comments
Hello all!
I just got my Super Trees starter kit today from Scenic Express. These look like like they can / will make some truly super trees!
Has anyone used this product before? Yes, the kit comes with instructions, but you more experienced guys may have some 'custom ideas' that can make things easier or better.
For instance, they recommend spray painting the natural armatures. I'm wondering if they could be dyed or stained instead. The material seems like it would absorb color well, as opposed to paint that may flake off or chip.
