Car Wash on the Trenton Subdivision in N Scale

I have completed some more work on the car wash in the VIA Rail Yard.

I posted an earlier blog as I was constructing the car wash. I have replaced the black plastic tubes that came with the kit with pipe cleaners and scratch built a base from 1mm styrene. Adding railings, grating and a chemical tank from other kits.

A Scratch Built Station for the PC&N Ry.

My progress so far on the Pacific City Station for my HOn3 PC&N Ry. It is based on the S.P.C. Agnew's Station. So far the most challenging part are those roof braces! I am still pondering the color scheme, but am currently leaning towards a medium grey body with dark green trim.

HO EXTREME LOAD no. TWO from PDC now available!

EXTREME LOAD no. TWO in HO Scale by PDC is now available.

1602 is the second kit in our EXTREME LOAD series and sister to 1601. She was first seen in a photo taken by Barry Silverthorn of TMTV, rolling past Barry's home, aboard a QTTX depressed center flatcar.

Road Salt Facility

Hello,

Does anyone know of a kit similar to this road salt building:

My original plan is to model the facility on the left with a Pikestuff Quonset Hut building:

Why I love scenery work

This is why I love scenery work! In just one hour or so a scene can go from from a bare shell to a complete scene. smiley

Almost to the Point of Rocks

My first attempt at brick on wood of the Point of Rocks Station, this is being built for the man who bought my Josie Olina Mercantile. my restriction is that it can only be 4 inches wide so only one side is being built the back side is flat and he wanted it longer to fit his space.

A few custom projects to share

I was recently contacted by a fellow MRH subscriber about making some custom signs for his layout. He wanted some vintage billboards to go on the side of a warehouse he is working on and the source materials were very limited.

It was certainly an interesting project and it came with 1 significant challenge. This was the only photo of the billboards to work from - show here at full resolution...

Tree making machine???

I saw a brief clip of a tree making machine a while back, possibly on a Dave Frary clip.

I cannot seem to find that clip or the name of that tree making machine.  Does anyone happen to know if that machine still exists and possibly have a link to purchase one if it still exists?

Thank you.
