Looking for tips on (structure) windows
No, not that kind. I'm a mac user. I mean windows in model buildings. I find them intimidating, especially the kind where you have to install upper and lower frames inside an outer frame. So much opportunity for my shaky hands to wreak havoc. Here's what prompted the thread:

Update: VIA Rail Yard and Shops -Trenton Subdivision in N Scale
I have been working on the VIA Rail yard and shops lately. Here are some preliminary photos of the area, taken with a cell phone to check for details. Once complete I will photograph again with a better camera and a backdrop.
Cheap Rock Strata
I have a spot on my layout, the Wakefield, Houghton and Trout Lake where the slope is too steep. More retaining walls were not what I wanted, as there are numerous retaining walls already present.
I decided that I wanted a rock wall there. I also decided that I didn't want the rock wall to cost too much. So I decided to try some thing new to make a stratified rock outcrop.
