A big Project: A working high lift rotary coal dumper in Nscale

I acquired the plan of a High lift rotary coal dumper, nearly the same which is still in use at Sandusky.

The Lone Rock Diorama
Recently I've been working on a small, portable diorama to demonstrate rock making techniques and to serve as a base for photographing models outdoors. Building the Lone Rock diorama is the subject of today's Thunder Mesa website post.

This is my first attempt at this so I hope it works. I am a member of a club in a retirement community that is only a little over a year old. We have received a couple of donated HO layouts we are in the process of integrating together to make something for the other residents to enjoy.
Twelve Months of Layout Updates (Kind Of)
So over those twelve months (which is about to become seventeen, or more) there’s probably been less than two weeks or so of actual work, in three different stretches, but I did manage to get some things accomplished during that time.
