Middleton Station

Started building the Middleton Station, kit offered by Railroad Kits.  We first did a AI wash on the walls followed up with sponging on the green dpaint

Then on to the window!

Finished Red Eye Salon

I put the smoke stack on and have finished! For a novice I am happy with how it turned out. Every kit comes out better. Next up Middleton Station

Slowly but Surely

More progress on Red Eye Saloon. Those little board ends are tricky for an unsteady hand!

Red Eye Saloon

Still working on the country side of the layout. Started building the Red Eye Saloon by BTS. For non craftsman, the directions are fun to interpret, but making slow and steady progress. That piece to the left is a part can not figure out where it goes! :)

Added a Road

It has been awhile since I have posted anything - in fact a few years. I continue to move ahead in fits and starts. I added a road to the rural side of the layout and have made a couple of new model kits. I guess slow and steady.

Papa Lou's Cigar Store

I received a couple of Bar Mills kits for Christmas, the Cigar Store and Bud's Smiley Texaco Station. This is only my second kit and decided tol start with the Cigar Shop.
