Colouring/tinting Envirotex Lite "water"

Hi all,

I have started experimenting with pouring "water" using Envirotex Lite.

I have seen some people colour the Envirotex using pigments, but I was wondering if it's possible to use paint, either oil or water based to apply a colour during mixing.

To buy the pigment is quite expensive, and you end up using just the smallest amount.

Has anyone used paint to colour the Envirotex?

Cheers.

How were tall bents built for wooden trestles?

I'm contemplating building a timber trestle and have a question about how really tall bents were constructed.  What tricks were used when the needed length of a bent exceeded the tallest trees available in a given area?  Are there any links anyone could point to for information on how this issue was addressed?  Photos are good...indecision

Acrylic on wood | York Industries pt 1

Recently I lost the drive to build for a week or two. I have a feeling it had something to do with work, it is a busy time of year for farmers. Thing is I use this hobby like a medicine and sometimes you need the discipline to stay healthy. And for me, the self-diagnosed needs a few hours in the shop every week.

Not much had been happening to finish the 8th Subdivison's yard at Junction City.  I got some inspiration from a new kit and proceeded from there.
