Alternate to the "Spam" Button
Currently we have the "spam" button. This button is Extremely effective, but it allows anybody and everybody to decide what posts we all get to see and what posts we don't. For physical Spam, it is great. For matters of discussion, it's not so great.

Your 2012 model railroad goals?
I'd be interested to hear what some of your model railroad goals are for 2012. I know that goals are supposed to be SMART - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely and that mine aren't; however, it's my railroad and some goals are better than no goals! I know it helps me to put them in writing, so I'll start off. Please chime in!

Bob's Trains unveiling at Northeast Georgia Medical Center

You Operations guys - input please
So it's time to show my ignorance and hopefully help reduce it. I was doing a little operations on my alcove expansion and my "orders" said "pull L&N 90508 boxcar from Palmer". The problem is, with the box car particaly inside Palmer's building I can't see the car number on the side and the end number is too small to read (see the picture mock up below).
Too Blog or Not to Blog?
So I am sitting here working on my layout design, and have started doing some things to the train room, and I was thinking that other people would like to see info on my progress. I know I like to see what others do, especially on here, (pics, videos, blogs, etc,,,) and that is the main reason why in the last 2-3 weeks I have made a lot of progress as far as design is considered because of the good people on here and there ideas and comments.
Your input please: Digital camera that can be focused & shooting can be controlled remotely
I've been intrigued by the wonderful pictures with great depth of field that have been posted on this site. I understand that one way to do this is by taking a series of pictures with different focus and then using software to combine them to create a sharp focus image.
