Finding a power supply
Good evening to all,
Need some help in locating a source for a 5 Volt AC power supply in a one or two amp range I am not having too much luck locating one and could use some assistance. Any ideas?
Thanks
Andy

Caboose Turning?
I am modeling a freelance 1930s steam operation (Cornhill & Atherton).
I still have a lower deck to build, but the upper deck track work is complete so I am taking the opportunity to test working the main yard. This is to iron out any constructional glitches and also see if I have created any operational problems with my track plan. Changing track work before scenery construction is obviously easier.
Anyway – I bring the local into the yard, detach the caboose and spot the cars...............
Memphis Hobby Shops
Will be going through the Memphis area the next few weeks. Anyone have hobby shop recommendations that have a large HO selection?

Hiding Posts (in forum threads)
Would love to see the feature for hiding posts added to the forums. So many posts I'd love to 'hide' as they add nothing to the thread and make searching for relevant information more tedious. Any chance of this happening?

Inside Engine House Wall Color
I'm wanting to 'paint' the inside of my engine house. I'm using a blue pole barn from Pikestuff. When I leave a unit parked in the door you can't see inside so then the color doesn't matter. However, when the power is out on the line, you can see inside. I plan on covering over the walls with either cardstock or thin styrene, but what color to use?

Wiring a lift up bridge
Our HO club in Florida is building a module with a lift-up bridge for access. We have a design that we are comfortable will be sturdy enough for our use and yet portable. We would like to have some kind of micro switch designed in so that if someone lifts the bridge, power is killed for a short space on either side of the bridge to prevent accidents.
Do any of you have any experience with these? We are DCC if it matters. Thanks.
Use of Sergent couplers for scale look
Have you tried using the Sergent Engineering type couplers for a more complete look. I am using the tight lock type for the passenger service locos and the end tail cars to give the trains a more scale like look.

Can anyone shed some light on Locomotive Lighting
I love technology and I love the ability to do magical things with DCC such as sound and lighting. However, as someone modelling HO CSX but not being American, I am finding it difficult to get clarity on which lights and which configurations I should be aiming for. Even more confusing is that certain model manufacturers produce locos with non functioning lights that are painted on but not necessarily correct for the model.
