Here as I promised, my N Scale layout in operation. Recording with my Blackberry Playbook did not do the sound justice, especially the bass. Hope this interests someone.

SCREEN READING TRENDS
Here's an interesting projection ... by 2020, estimates are smartphones + tablets will be 10x the number of PCs and laptops. Smartphones and tablets are always on, always connected, and always with you.
Guess where publishers (and advertisers) should be going? That's why our new mobile-friendly MRH Gen 2 is imperative ...
just jeeps getting better
Joe,
I can't believe I've been reading this for more than two years now.
It just gets better and better, I don't even miss the slicks anymore. I just look at the newest MRH and satisfy all of my model railroading fetishes and longings.
I was wondering if any thought had been given to a members gallery where readers could post images of their own layouts in the magazine?
Keep 'em coming, I'm hooked for life!

Club open house listing in MRH
First off, let me thank you for how much work gets put into MRH to help grow our hobby on a day to day basis, so much good has already come from the pages of this magazine and the online community that exists here. That said I have always wondered why there are selected events like chapter meetings of NMRA regionals and such listed in the magazine but no listing of current clubs or a monthly spread about upcoming club open houses. Is this not included for a reason or is it just not yet been thought of?
