April issue subscriber extras

Wow, after seeing the email message from MRH today about Miss April I figured I better run down to Best Buy and get a vertical aspect monitor before I downloaded the centerfold. Oh, it is another April Fool joke. Probably would have been a nice pair... of Southern GP-35s and a cute caboose too.

Rule 251 Technicolor

I would like to add some technicolor to the Rule 251 discussion. The GCOR rule (assuming it is the General Code currently being used by railroads) isn't 251 anymore its Rule 9.14 if somebody wants to look it up.

Downloading embedded edition of March MRH

I am trying load the latest issue onto my new laptop but it's not working. The embedded edition does not complete for some reason. I'v tried it three times and it always stops at exactly the same place when its 99 percent complete.

Help would be appreciated.

Proprosed: MRH Mobile app

There's been some discussion earlier about getting MRH in the Apple Newstand, but we're thinking we need more than that.

We'd like to see a full-blown MRH mobile app that you can use on an iPad, Kindle, iPhone, or Android phone. We see the app including:

1. Forums, scrollable and viewable on the device in large type
2. Blogs, scrollable viewable on the device in large type
3. Automatic notification of new issues with download link for the proper version for your device
4. MRH hobby news feed with embedded media playable on the device
