MRH WANTED: Grand Rapids local modeler

MRH is looking for a modeler who is local to Grand Rapids who can help us with our convention presence this summer.

We always prefer to have a "local yokel" when we do major shows who can help us out. If we need errands run (like where's the nearest office supply store) or if we want to know where a good local food place is, having a local who knows the area can be a godsend.

Smartphone stories?

Anybody out there using a smartphone (iPhone or Android phone) to read MRH or to visit the web site regularly?

If so, whip some stories on us ... we'd like to hear about it.

Your wonderful free magazine that I read with elation every month!

Thank you for your free magazine every month. I appreciate the well-written articles. Thinking about the recent article from Lance Mindheim makes my appreciate  your magazine more than some others that are printed on paper. You dedicated 10+ pages to his excellent article that I can actually use. I also appreciate that I am not an outsider because I like to simply run trains and do some switching rather than operate like a "real" railroad. Thank you.

New surprise coming with the Feb MRH

We think you'll like it ...

E-reader question

I have been reading on a Windows PC since day one.  I have now entered the modern day with a Kindle Fire for Christmas.  It is great and I recommend it or another E-reader /Web reader to anyone.  my problem is I would like to place some of the back issues on the Kindle Fire to read as I travel.  Suggestions?  Can I just email a version to myself and open it on the Fire?
