HO D&RGW Steel 61-ft Baggage car (700-739) Hand Brake?

I am currently working on my HO D&RGW Steel 61-ft Baggage car (700-739) kit. My problem is that i can*t get any information about the on the appearance of the Hand-brake (a so-called tunnel type Hand Brake System). Do  perhaps anyone have an idea where i could obtain a good picture, information or a drawing on this?

The Ohio & Eastern gets a locomotive

The Ohio & Eastern is my imaginary line that runs from Cleveland to Pittsburgh in the late 90's.  I run mostly Conrail equipment.  This is the first loco that I've lettered for my railroad.  It is an Atlas U23B that was patched out.

Another color question...

Hi @all

I have here a CF7 from Athearn on the workbench, and want to recolor it to #50 of the Central Florida Railroad.
I've found the decals at Highball Graphics, but now I wonder about the red color of the engine.

Any idea which color I can use?

Thanks and regards,

Martin

Atlas/Kato Diesel Wheelsets

I have about 18 or 20 Atlas diesels made by Kato, mostly early Alcos.  I acquired them in the early 90s in anticipation of using them one day on a new layout.  That day is coming soon.

New chassis for a Walthers Trainline Alco FA

Does anyone know if the Walthers TL Alco FA body will fit with little or no modification on the Bachmann FA2 chassis or the MTH FA1 chassis?

Fix drooping coupler pockets on Bachmann pass cars?

The Kadees on Bachmann Spectrum passenger cars are pulled down by uncoupler magnets and snag the ties.
How can the coupler pocket be modified to have less vertical play?

CSX colors codes

Dear Gents,

After several days of research on the web with no real success and rather than selling my Kato Iocs, i plan to repainting them on the CSX scheme, YN2 & YN3, but to do this, i need to know the exact colors codes. As you propably know, Testors, True-colors or other US brands are very difficult to find in Europe, i think i'm going to use Tamiya or maybe Humbrol. I'm taking all informations and ideas you can get as well as any European dealers addresses, if any. Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Sincerly,

Tips for building Red Caboose 40' AC&F boxcars? (if that's what these are)

Gents,
I like building and decaling kits, so I bought 5 bagged Red Caboose boxcar kits on eBay. Looks like cutting those micro-thin pipes and things off the sprues will be tricky, we'll have to see.
