HO Curved Turnout 28/30
Is there such a thing? Will it work? I need a code 100 turnout with a 28" inside radius and a 30" outside radius. I would prefer to buy an off-the-shelf piece. Maybe modify a commercial turnout? Anybody want to make one?
thanks
Randy

JMRI panel pro
Am I the only one that cant seam to fully understand how to set up Signals and such in JMRI panel pro?

Looking for the name of a vintage electronic throttle........
..............that was available in the late 70's to early 80's. I am stumped on this and maybe you all could help.

Resin Cast Tie Strips
Being interested in TT scale also I've discovered that the scale doesn't enjoy many products that are available to both N and HO sale, especially track components. If they are available the they quite costly or need to be imported from Europe. So you are either left with a product that doesn't quite look North American, or you will need to hand lay all the track. A couple of track producing companies were approached to see if they would make flex track in TT scale.
A new switch for New Brighton
I recently replaced a switch at the east end of New Brighton on my 1977 era Soo Line railroad. For years the original no. 6 would give my headaches by causing derailments especially when making reverse movements through the turnout. I decided that a right hand Shinohara curved switch would be a better candidate for this spot.
Accessory decoders and sub addresses
I have a Zimo MX82 accessory decoder that will support 4 servos. I have programmed it with Decoder Pro.
The servos are activated by sub-addresses.
I can not figure out how to enable the sub-addresses on my NCE Power Cab. I have the accessory decoder set as 4, and the sub-address at 111. When I select the accessory decoder, all I get on the screen is On or OFF. Neither seem to do anything.
Here is the Decoder Pro screen shot.
Any ideas?

Arduino Speedometer for less than $15
Hi all!

Speedometer:
The idea was to be familiar with the game and start KISS. So, before decide where to place in the Layout, I plan for a "portable" one ( so it can be used also on a modular layout during meetings ?)
The Micro used is the little and cheap Nano, more than enough for this simple application:

uses for an old computer
Gang,
I have an old computer that is an intel 3.0 Ghz Core2Duo with 8GB of RAM and a non-gaming video card. It is certainly fast enough to do basic computing but not fast enough to keep up with what I need it to do for home security, automation, etc. So, It will be sent down to the train layout to live out its retirement years...
Bus wiring gauge
Can bus wiring be too big??? I'm building a 4x8 N Scale layout and have 14 gauge wire for my DCC bus. It's stranded copper wire. The terminal wires are pretty small, whatever the Atlas terminal joiners are.
Anyway, will 14 gauge work for an N scale layout. I have 12 terminal joiner 'drops' I plan to hook up using suitcase connectors.
Thanks-Tim

Light Iron Turnout Co. - any comments or tips?
I am looking into options for my upcoming HOn3 project, including assembled turnouts from the Light Iron Turnout Co (LITCO).
I have heard good things about their On30 trackwork, can anyone with experience with their HOn3 turnouts please comment? I am interested in how well they are built, and any tips for using them with Code 55 Micro Engineering flextrack.
