Programing DCC block watcher with JMRI ?

Can I program a "DCC Block Watcher" (block detector) using a JMRI computer interface and how can that be done? I am a bit of a novice when it comes to programing cvc's. The only thing I've done in that vein is assign train numbers. I am using an MRC Prodigy Advance2  system.

Servos and LEDS

I know that if you kitbash a servo by removing the motor that you can hook up bidirectional leds to the controller board and control the leds the same as the servo.

Hypothesis:  What if you don't remove the motor but add a bidirectional led to the board at the motor contact points.

Articulated crossing gate with signals

Once again I reach out to those who know. I would like to add N scale articulated gates and signals to these crossings.

does any one know of a any commercial units or would I have to scratch build from components. Also who sells the decals for the RR crossing painted on the road.

Switching tracks off using DCC

All of my locos have sound installed. I have a nice Heljan/Walthers DCC turntable. When a steam  loco is on one of the turntable tracks I want it to have had its fire dumped etc. so I need it to have its sound turned off. Plus, when all three turntable tracks are occupied and I turn on the DCC to start a session, all three loco's sounds start up. Currently, I have to cycle through each loco and hit F8 to turn its individual sound off.

Tsunami 1.5v bulb question

Hey guys.

Has anyone else used the 1.5volt circuit on a SoundTraxx tsunami for loco headlight/backup lights using SoundTraxx 1.5 volt or similar bulbs?  I have found the lights are very dim.  They aren't even noticeable when on the dimmed setting.  Am I doing something wrong or are they just very low output bulbs.  I could hook them up to the 12 volt contacts with resistors but i thought the whole point of the 1.5 volt contacts was to avoid having to do this.

Any help is greatly appreciated..

Thanks

This ought to bring on all kinds of opinions. New products usually do. An Android app will come along also according to a person who was at the show. Available in 2015.

guess what I found

Saturday I drove up to my LHS and picked up an Atlas #2752 custom N line #6 switch. Funny thing I never noticed that on the bottom of the package in bold white letters on black background "made in the U.S.A."  I thought all atlas track items were made in China.

Track install layout built

Hello,

Iam in the NY Staten Island area... I was wondering if there are anyone that can help install O gauge Gargraves   track work.  All the bench work has been constructed..... Will cover Time and travel ?

Control Panel LED and PECO Solenoid snap switches on DCC track

I'm hoping there is a way to light up my control panel to show which way the track is turned without the cost of either buying a whole batch of PECO PL-13's or PL-15's, or converting all switches to slow motion tortoise machines.

This is part of my DCC conversion project - which includes swaping out my old Atlas snap switches for PECO ones.  Most but not all the PECO will be the insul-frog - up to four may have the live frogs - I need PL-15 to route the power to the frog and I have four of them.
