Reversing loop wiring help

So this single issue has been holding me back for over a year now. I have pretty much a double track going into a reversing loop. I have attached a picture of the trackwork and a diagram of where i have gaps and wires. With it hooked up this way, my DCC system immediately shorts out.

NCE Powercab & Smart Booster

Hi,

I have an older 3 amp SB3 Smart Booster from NCE.......also an NCE Powercab to USB interface.......can both of these be used at the same time for my test/program track?

I was thinking of using the Smart Booster in place of the Soundtraxx PTB-100.

I also plan to use DecoderPro.......therefore the NCE Powercab to USB interface.

Thanks.

Flex Track Curves

Wondering if any good tools out there for laying flex track curves.

I have some sectional 24" radius track that I was going to use, but after putting it down and putting my passenger cars on it that I might run into issues.  I don't have the room to really run 36" or greater, but was thinking I might be able to get by on 30" even though they won't look totally right, but given my limited space I would still be able to run them.

I run HO scale and will have a 9x11 layout that goes around the walls.

New to DCC, track sections question

Hello,

I'm new to DCC and would love to have some input on if I should be splitting my track into sections, instead of building everything with metal track connectors.

The layout isn't very big (3ft by 4ft). I know my reversing loop needs to be split due to stop short circuits, but I don't know if I should be splitting different sections of my track off or not.

Please ignore the green lines.

MTH ES44AC DCC ready issues HO

Recently purchased 2 MTH DCC ready ES44AC HO engines. I decided to wait for the 28mm speakers before I converted them to RailPro decoder equipped engines. They come with pretty decent instructions compared to my other recent Fox Valley purchase. I used a 8 to 9 pin adaptor cable after removing the 2 preinstalled jumpers on the 8 pin socket. I also removed the metal jumpers for the ditch light and number board internal feeds so they will be controlled instead by the decoder which has 6 light outputs.

Reverse loop and dim bulb

So I've got myself a plan...but, it's smarter than I am.

Illustrated below is the problem I have created for myself...the loop portion actually comprises the majority of the layout and it seems less than practical to switch the polarity of the whole thing as in the usual reverse loop scenario. But, I am danged if I can see how to accomplish it.

Soundtrax Soundcar in N scale boxcar problem

Hey everyone I finally got a boxcar big enough to house the soundtrax soundcar decoder, the microtrains wipers, and metal wheels.  I have got it all together except for the wires running to the wipers.  The micro trains coupler pin is not hollow to run the power wires to so I am not sure how to run the wires to get power and still allow the trucks to turn and not hinder anything.

Has anybody done this and or can help me with the wires.  Any help will be appreciated.  I can't wait to get more sound on the layout.

Thanks in advance

Automatic Reversing Unit

Hi again,

I'm considering making some changes to my layout.  Considering adding a Peerless Industries Automatic Reversing Unit (https://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/564-525) in lieu of continuous running.  Is anyone familiar with this product?  Is there any easier way to do this?  A Google search brought about only one person who said they were have trouble and they planned on taking back.  I'd just like to know what I'm getting myself into before I spend the money.

As always, I appreciate your help!

Slot max

We have reached slot max a couple of times at our club. We know how to fix it when it happens, but how do you prevent it? We have read several ways to dispatch your throttle. This one makes most sense to me, you have reached the end of the session, so (you hold down the disp button and plug your throttle in, then let go of the disp button) is that correct?
