Hard to find parts

I am having no luck trying to find a 1/4" I.D. bronze shoulder bearing like this in Canada.

No Home Depot carries them in Canada, but they do in the US, but won't sell/ship one to me or the store.

Any ideas on where I can find one would be much appreciated.

I used this on the last turntable I put together, which I regrettably sold years ago.

Looking for ideas for a small 8x8

I have a side room on my basement that has a 8ft  x 7 ft 8 inches space to put a layout. 8 feet is the depth of this alcove, so slighty longer than 8 feet is possible, but there are walls on the 7'8" sides.

I currently have a 4x8 table setup with a double mainline, in work. Primary industry is a coal mine using some walthers kits, and set in Appalachia ~1980's (flexible). I have realized that once finished, I will not be satisfied with all the compromises a 4x8 has.

@Metrolink

Does your new track plan posted in the Trackplan database include your KATO Portram track?

Not sure where to start

I've inherited a WWII vintage HO collection of trains, some more modern farm and restaurant buildings and a large factory (18 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches (tall) factory.  I've learned how to wire lights, but am at a loss as to what to build... I dont have a favorite era/location/subject..

Thanks

Displaying models

I have some favorite models that will not always be running on my layout that I'm currently building.

I have limited space especially wall space, as I only have one wall available.

I'm glad I saved my inglenook; I use it to display and store a collection.

I mounted it above my modules. Also mounted two display cases and a floating shelf for non model railroad stuff. like my Greek boats.

Searching for ideas as to what to model for N Scale TOMA Project

OK, I am not even sure I will go through with building one, but for a few different reasons I would like to decide on, if I were to go ahead with designing and building an N Scale Layout what should I model.  I already have some parameters, but the one crucial decision is what area to model.  So I would like some ideas that fulfill the following criteria.  Thanks!
