Thought i might post a few pics of an old project. Its been on my bench for probably 8 years on and off. I don't model O scale any more so it tends to get worked on from time to time when i need a break from HO.

ITLA Scale Models Cooper's Alley build
Fresh in from the Post Office with another laser cut wood kit. I am going to build some parts of this kit on camera. But not all of it. Just the parts where I am doing a technique unique to my building.
First note is, if you built one of the early ITLA kits, and found the instructions,... lacking. The new kits have much, much better instructions.

Rapido RDC SP-10 -- Adding an ESU PowerPack Mini
Last week I added an ESU PowerPack (a.k.a. current keeper) to the Rapido RDC SP-10. I'm really satisfied with the outcome, however there is a little important twist so I would like to explain how to do it.

Going a bit more proto-freelance.... introducing the Willamette Western RR
I spent a pleasant evening last week installing a LokSound Direct in one of my Atlas Trainman GP39-2 locomotives, using, for the first time, an iPhone 4 speaker that I bought from Precision Design (aka Bill Brillinger) awhile back. I actually had to go out and hunt down the weight that I had removed from the locomotive to put a "normal" sized speaker in it when I'd installed the now dead QSI Titan in it - I think it's the first hood width locomotive I've been able to leave (or restore) all the weight in after a sound install.

A little bit of progress on the Office Park zone
With all the activity around the holidays, I didn't get too much done on the Office Park zone. I've been spending most of the time over the last month or so just operating the layout, with a lot of focus on tinkering with OperationsPro settings.

The Future
With a family in planning, mid last year, it was decided that I would retire Bridgewater from the exhibition circuit, which in turn gave the ability to finally start building my dream home layout.
As Bridgewater was in good condition, I decided it would become the centrepiece of the new layout, which will be a multi-level proto-freelanced version of the main south line that runs roughly south-east from Adelaide to the Victorian border at Serviceton.

Introduction, my track plan and current status
Hi folks, I've been lurking around for the last five years or so, and have participated in a few threads here and there. However, I think it's time to get my feet wet, so I'd like to properly introduce myself. I'm Paulo Vinicius Radtke, a Brazilian prototype model railroader living in Saint-Constant, in the greater Montreal area (Quebec, Canada). My choice goes back to the country I grew up, and used to see the trains when I visited my late grandmother, who lived in the country side.
