The First Batch of Rolling Stock for My Brazilian Railroad Layout
A while back I posted about my layout plans, and the period I'm modeling, the late 60s and early 70s of the RFFSA, PSC division, in Brazil. Recently I've made some progress and I've got some proper rolling stock for it. To start, trains around that time used to mostly haul soy beans in box hopper cars. One of the modern cars by then was the FD, a 54ton capacity (80ton max total weight), manufactured by MAFERSA, a now extinct car shop.
Introduction, my track plan and current status
Hi folks, I've been lurking around for the last five years or so, and have participated in a few threads here and there. However, I think it's time to get my feet wet, so I'd like to properly introduce myself. I'm Paulo Vinicius Radtke, a Brazilian prototype model railroader living in Saint-Constant, in the greater Montreal area (Quebec, Canada). My choice goes back to the country I grew up, and used to see the trains when I visited my late grandmother, who lived in the country side.
